Orange County Cavy Haven is a non-profit organization dedicated to rehoming guinea pigs in Southern California. We rescue abandoned guinea pigs from shelters in Orange and Los Angeles counties. We also promote proper cavy care and adoption through community outreach.

Our guinea pigs are rehabilitated, socialized, and fostered by volunteers until they are ready to be adopted. Although we are based in Orange County, we rescue guinea pigs from L.A. and Bay Area shelters as well. We also have foster homes in L.A. County.

Supply day is here!

Do you need hay, pellets, bedding, or other supplies for your guinea pigs? OCCH offers bulk feed at discount prices to the public. We also have cozies, cuddle cups, and cage accessories for your piggies! OCCH volunteers will be on hand to answer care questions, and you can bring your piggies for a health check and grooming services for a small donation. Supply day is Saturday, May 19 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Hay, pellets, and bedding must be pre-ordered before the event. Click here for more information.

This is Christie. OCCH rescued her on April 25th from the San Bernardino shelter. She has bilateral hair loss and other signs of ovarian cysts, which can be treated by a spay.
